Perry Zalevsky, Director of Business Development at SCA Technologies, recently attended the Computer Applications Operating Committee meeting of the Association of Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) held in Maumee, Ohio.

The AIST, a result of the recent merger between the Association of Iron and Steel Engineers (AIST) and the Iron & Steel Society, is an international member-driven organization for those involved in the iron and steel community, including steel manufacturers, suppliers, consumers and academics. The AIST is committed to presenting superior technical meetings, conferences, exhibits and publications and sponsors several committees that deal with specific issues in the steel industry. The Computer Applications Operating Committee is charged with promoting the understanding and advancement of appropriate automation applications and technologies for the processing of steel.
